Dear colleagues,
the Digital Health section of the German Informatics Society (GI) is offering the workshop “Digital Health Perspectives” at the INFORMATIK FESTIVAL on September 18, 2025, in Potsdam. The workshop is being held in collaboration with the German Society for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology (GMDS).
The workshop will consider challenges and solutions in the digitalization of healthcare and discuss their impact on society. The workshop aims to bring researchers and practitioners from medicine, computer science, economics, social sciences, ethics and other fields into a constructive dialog. Contributions related to the German healthcare system as well as international perspectives and experiences from other countries are welcome. The goal is to provide new impetus for the digital transformation of healthcare by combining different disciplines.
Completed research papers (full papers), work-in-progress research papers and extended abstracts can be submitted. Accepted research papers will be published in the GI edition Lecture Notes in Informatics (LNI). Papers can be written in English or German.
The deadline for submissions will be extended to April 21, 2025.
