His recent work is in detecting population level patterns in the prevalence of multiple chronic conditions and evaluating interventions. Dr. Balasubramanian’s research has been funded by multiple grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF), including an NSF CAREER award (2013-2019) focused on improving primary care delivery.
On 25 February 2025, at 16:00 (CET), he will talk about “Identifying Associations Between Diseases Using Association Rule Mining and Clustering Methods.” Dr. Balasubramanian conducted the research presented in this talk in collaboration with his doctoral student, Ali Jafari, at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
